I have four 816A Subwoofers with N501-8A crossovers with 416-8A 8ohm diaphrams.

Soundcraft model RP2212 vintage equalizer.
Looking to sell them. did get pricing from Steve at Great Plains and a really nice person on this site named Old Guy.

Well he might be close on the 8G/511E's. After getting a pair of 16 G's with another purchase I was surprized at what they bring on EBay.

Typically is 1200 or a little better on the 288G's and 500--700 on the 511E...
Which is 1700 to 1900, so at 2600 he is way high.
It is his prerogative what he asks...
Top dollar on the 416's is probably $250 each...so 1000 for 4.
The cabinets will not bring much. The 1300 each he is quoting for the cabinets is closer to the value for all 4.
He does not have the right to lie and say those prices were confirmed here.
Jammin' Jersey has had the same items on their website for a long time. They don't sell much.
And they are NOT Altec experts, just a used equipment seller.
I do not believe Great Plains Audio told him anything like that either.
If he takes Great Plains and this board out of the auction I will delete this post.

Well, look at the bright side, anybody interested in the 288's or 511E's no longer has to worry about bidding against me for them at any price.
I'll wait and buy mine from a more "reputable" seller.
